Welcome to Bridgend and District Camera Club

We are a group of enthusiastic photographers who meet once a week

Get Started

What do we offer?

The club holds a range of events from weekly meetings to location outings.

  • Club evenings
  • Practical evenings
  • Photo editing evenings
  • Social events
  • Competitions with other clubs

We meet most Monday evenings throughout the year from September to May. Evening sessions run from 7.30pm to around 9.30pm with doors open from just after 7pm. During early summer we meet at outdoor locations in the area to get down to some serious picture taking! If you would like to come along to see what we do, please feel free to do so without obligation. If you have any questions, don’t be afraid to ask - members will be happy to help you. And don’t be put off by some of the images you will see - the photographers in this club have a range of abilities and even the good ones started with less experience than they have now!

Vehicle access to Nolton Church Hall off Merthyr Mawr Road North is from Nolton Street, opposite the Brackla Street Centre. Limited parking is available at the hall with a one way system operating clockwise around the building. There is also parking available on the street immediately outside the hall. In the event that all nearby spaces are taken, Brackla Street car park is recommended as the best alternatve - it is just a few minutes walk from the hall on Brackla Street (free parking after 6pm).
